Projects

Alongside its ongoing activity — the register, education, quality control — IKM carries out fixed-term projects, often in cooperation with international partners, to broaden the professional offering for members and to strengthen the role of the profession in the economy. The projects of recent years are presented below, starting with the most recent.

2024 – 2026 · Programmes developed with the World Bank

Within the framework of the World Bank project to strengthen financial reporting, auditing and corporate governance, IKM developed three new programmes:

  • The “Forensic Accountant” certification — a specialised programme in forensic accounting and fraud examination, with certified trainers in the pilot phase and open sessions for members, auditors and law enforcement institutions. → The “Forensic Accountant” certification
  • Outsourcing of accounting services — a training programme for Certified Accountants and Accounting Firms that aim to provide services to clients abroad, which concluded with the “Accounting Outsourcing, Awareness Conference” on 11 December 2025.
  • IFRS Diploma — preparation of certified trainers and of the programme for the IFRS Diploma for IKM members. Status: completed in December 2025.
